GEAppliances.com Modules CAUTION • Be sure all controls are turned OFF before attempting to remove a module or heating element. • Do not attempt to clean plug-in surface units or grill heating element in an automatic dishwasher. Grill Module To remove: • Lift off the grill grate. • Unplug the heating element. To replace: • Place the reflector pan in the cooktop tub with the hole for the plug-in towards the outside of the cooktop. • Plug in the heating element. • Place the grill or griddle grate on top of the reflector pan. Grill Grate Clean with a plastic scouring pad and hot, soapy watm: Rinse well. The grill grate may also be cleaned in the dishwasher. Do not clean in a self-cleaning oven. Griddle Accessory Clean with a plastic scouring pad and hot, soapy water. Rinse well. Do not use abrasive cleaners. Do not clean in the dishwasher. • Do not immerse plug-in surface units in liquids of any kind. • Do not bend the plug-in surface unit plug terminals. • Do not attempt to clean, adjust or in any way repair the plug-in receptacle. Grill Grate -- Heating Element Reflector Pan Do not attempt to clean the heating element. Reflector Pan Let grill or griddle cool, then remove. Lift out the reflector pan. Clean with either a plastic or soap-filled scouring pad and hot, soapy water. The reflector pan may also be cleaned in the dishwasher. Grill Cover Do not place the cover on a hot module or leave it over the grill while preheating. To clean the cover, wash it at the sink with soap and water and dry. For stubborn soil, let it soak for 5 to 10 minutes or use a nylon brush or pad. Do not use a metal scouring pad or other abrasives. Do not clean in the dishwasher. (continued next page) 25
