English Cable/Antenna Connection • For clear reception, connect an antenna or cable to your television set. Cable Connection Incoming Cable From Cable Company • Connect your local company's cable to ANT connection on the back of your television. ANT • Select the cable mode in Preset menu. (Refer to the Preset menu on p.31) Note: You may need a converter box in order to receive proper reception and special cable broadcasting channels. You must check with your local cable company for compatibility requirements. 75 Ohm VHF/UHF on back of TV Antenna Connection • You will need an external antenna for proper reception of VHF/UHF channels. An outdoor antenna is recommended for the best reception. • Connect your home antenna to the ANT connection on the back of the television. • Select "Air" mode in the Preset menu. (Refer to the Preset menu on p.31) Note: The cable mode is preset from the factory. If you are using an antenna, you must change to "Air" mode in the Preset menu.
