HP Embedded Web Server (HP EWS) HP Embedded Web Server (HP EWS) is a Web-based program that allows users to control settings on the product through the Web browser. HP EWS can only be accessed if the HP Color LaserJet CM2320 MFP Series product is installed through a network rather than a USB connection. To access HP EWS, open a Web browser and type the product's IP address in the address bar. The product's IP address is documented on a Configuration Page. To print out a copy of the Configuration Page, follow these steps on the product control panel: 1. Press Setup. 2. Use the arrow buttons to select Reports, and then press OK. 3. Use the arrow buttons to select Configuration report, and then press OK. The following tabs are available in HP EWS: ● Status tab ● System tab ● Print tab ● Fax tab ● Networking tab ● E-mail tab NOTE: The Networking tab appears only for the product, which comes standard with onboard networking capabilities. NOTE: HP EWS is accessible on Macintosh for both network-connected and USB-connect products by using Device Configuration Utility. Status tab Use the Status tab to access and print detailed information regarding product status, supply status, product configuration, network configuration, and usage. The Status tab contains the following pages: ● Device Status ● Supplies Status ● Device Configuration ● Network Summary ● Print Info Pages ● Color Usage Job Log ● Event Log NOTE: The Status tab opens to the Device Status page. 90 Chapter 2 Software description ENWW
