NOTE: For information on HP ProtectSmart Hard Drive Protection, refer to the HP Notebook Reference Guide. Connects an optional USB 3.0 device and provides enhanced USB power performance. NOTE: This port is also compatible with USB 1.0 and 2.0 devices. Connects an optional video or audio device, such as a high-definition television, or any compatible digital or audio component. Connects an optional digital display device, such as a highperformance monitor or projector. Attaches an optional security cable to the computer. NOTE: The security cable is designed to act as a deterrent, but it may not prevent the computer from being mishandled or stolen. Connects a network cable. Enables airflow to cool internal components. NOTE: The computer fan starts up automatically to cool internal components and prevent overheating.
