Power connector cable Description Power connector cable (includes bracket) Spare part number 736358-001 Before removing the power connector cable, follow these steps: 1. Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system. 2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer. 3. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer. 4. Remove the display panel (see Display assembly on page 74). 5. Remove the service cover (see Service cover on page 37). 6. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 39). 7. Remove the RJ-45 module cover (see RJ-45 module cover on page 49). 8. Remove the USB/audio board (see USB/audio board on page 52). Remove the power connector cable: 1. Remove the 2 Phillips PM2.5×5.5 screws that secure the left display hinge to the computer, and then rotate the hinge upward (2). 2. Disconnect the power connector cable from the system board (1), and then remove the cable from the clip build into the fan (2). 3. Remove the 2 Phillips PM2.5×3.5 broadhead screws that secure the bracket that sits atop the power connector (3). Component replacement procedures 53

Before removing the power connector cable, follow these steps:
1.
