TouchPad Description TouchPad for use in models without an NFC module TouchPad for use in models with an NFC module Spare part number L14369-001 L19416-001 Before removing the TouchPad, follow these steps: 1. Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system. 2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer. 3. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet, and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer. 4. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 34). 5. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 47). Remove the TouchPad: 1. Disconnect the NFC module cable from the ZIF connector on the NFC module (1). 2. Disconnect the TouchPad button board cable from the ZIF connector on the TouchPad (2). 3. Disconnect the card reader cable from the ZIF connector on the TouchPad (3). 4. Remove the five Phillips M2.0x2.5 screws (1) that secure the TouchPad to the computer.
