6000/6000r Processor Upgrade Introduction The HP NetServer LH 6000/6000r supports up to six processor modules and required to remove and replace processor modules and there respective VRM. • An antistatic service kit (3M™ 8501/8502/8505 or equivalent). LT 6000r Processor Upgrade Introduction The HP NetServer supports LT 6000r up to six processor modules processor configuration, all processors must operate at the same speed. You can use this upgrade guide to replace an existing processor module with a higher speed processor, or to add additional - HP LH4r | HP Netserver LT 6000r Processor Upgrade Guide - Page 20

Restart the NetServer with the HP NetServer Navigator CD-ROM provided with the processor upgrade kit inserted in the CD-ROM drive. the BIOS update is complete, remove the HP NetServer Navigator CD-ROM from the CD-ROM drive and restart the NetServer. This completes the BIOS update process.
