Chapter 2 HP NetServer LT 6000r Processor Upgrade Removing the Terminator If your system has at least one processor module, there are terminators installed in all remaining slots. You must remove a terminator for each new processor before installing an additional processor module into the next available slot. 1. Loosen the thumbscrew and open the access cover to the processor slots. See Figure 2-4. Both sides of the processor cage have covers and thumbscrews. Removing the Terminator
If your system has at least one processor module, there are terminators
installed in all remaining slots. You must remove a terminator for each
new processor before installing an additional processor module into the
next available slot.

Loosen the thumbscrew and open the access cover to the processor slots.
See Figure 2-4.
