Complete the following steps to upgrade the projector's ROM: 1. Connect the DFP end of the cable to the DFP connector on the projector and the DVI end of the cable to the input end of the Flash ROM RS232 adapter. 2. Connect the other end of the Flash ROM RS232 adapter to the RS232 (serial) connector on the computer. 3. Power on the computer and monitor only (if applicable). 4. Access Compaq's web site at: http://www.Compaq.com/Services/Projectors/ MP1800/Softpaqs. 5. Follow the steps outlined on the Web site. 6. Power on the projector. 7. Flash ROM Upgrade
Complete the following steps to upgrade the projector

ROM:
1.
Connect the DFP end of the cable to the DFP connector
on the projector and the DVI end of the cable to the input
end of the Flash ROM RS232 adapter.

Connect the other end of the Flash ROM RS232 adapter
to the RS232 (serial) connector on the computer.
3.
Power on the computer and monitor only (if applicable).

5.

6.
Power on the projector.
