Connecting a Video Player ✎ If your video player uses a round, one-prong composite video connector, use the RCA video cable. If your video player uses a round, four-prong S-video connector, use the S-video cable. Both cables are included with the Compaq Multimedia Adapter. 1. Plug the RCA video cable into the video-out port on the video player and the video port on the video adapter. If you are using the S-video cable, connect it to the S-video out connector on the video player and the S-video port on the video adapter. 2. Turn on the projector first, then the video player. 3. Press the Source button on the back of the Multimedia Adapter to switch the projector signal from data to video. The data mode receives computer inputs and the video mode receives video input such as a TV tuner, videocassette recorder, or camera. With the Compaq Multimedia Adapter attached, the projector is compatible with major video standards such as NTSC, PAL, and SECAM. If your video player uses a round, one-prong composite video
connector, use the RCA video cable.
If your video player uses a round, four-prong S-video
connector, use the S-video cable.
Both cables are included with the Compaq Multimedia
Adapter.
