Remove the WWAN module

Remove the WWAN module: 1. Detach the black Mylar covering from the WWAN module. The covering is secured by adhesive. 2. Detach the aluminum foil and tape (not illustrated) from the wireless antenna cables, and then disconnect the wireless antenna cables (1) from the terminals on the WWAN module. NOTE: The red WWAN antenna cable is connected to the WWAN module "Main" terminal. The blue WWAN antenna cable is connected to the WWAN module "Aux" terminal. 3. Remove the Phillips PM2.0×3.0 screw (2) that secures the WWAN connector bracket (3) to the system board. (The edge of the module opposite the slot rises away from the device.) 4. Remove the WWAN module (4) by pulling the module away from the slot at an angle. NOTE: WWAN modules are designed with a notch (5) to prevent incorrect insertion. Remove the WWAN module:
1.
Detach the black Mylar covering from the WWAN module. The covering is secured by adhesive.
2.
Detach the aluminum foil and tape (not illustrated) from the wireless antenna cables, and then
disconnect the wireless antenna cables

NOTE:
The red WWAN antenna cable is connected to the WWAN module “Main” terminal. The
blue WWAN antenna cable is connected to the WWAN module “Aux” terminal.
3.
