2 System Board Functional Information Diagnostics Self-Test and Extended Self-Test Self-Test is provided by the BOOT ROM and is executed as soon as the workstation is powered on. After power-on and boot, the front panel LED will flash, three quick flashes pause and repete if there is something wrong with the graphics subsystem. If the LED flashes in a three quarter of a second pattern the CPU is defective. Your system will run a series of diagnostic tests to check the hardware configuration.
