Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 31). 2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 32). 3. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 39). Remove the touchpad button board: 1. Disconnect the cable from the ZIF connector on the system board (1). 2. Disconnect the cable from the ZIF connector on the touchpad (2). 3. Remove the five Phillips M2.0 × 3.0 screws (3) that secure the touchpad button board to the computer. 4. Remove the touchpad button board from the computer (4).
