Right speaker NOTE: The speaker spare part kit includes the cable. Description Speaker Kit (includes right and left speakers) Spare part number 857474-001 IMPORTANT: Make special note of each screw and screw lock size and location during removal and replacement. Before removing the speaker, follow these steps: 1. Shut down the computer. 2. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer. 3. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer. 4. Remove the following components: a. Battery (see Battery on page 34) b. Optical drive (see Optical drive on page 35) c. Base enclosure (see Base enclosure on page 37) Remove the right speaker: 1. Carefully disconnect the right speaker connector (1) from the system board. 2. Release the display cable from the routing channels (2). 3. Remove the Phillips M2.0 x 4 screw and Phillips M2.5 x 5 screw (3). Component replacement procedures 47
