3. Do the following: a. Open the accessory tray, or trays, and then remove any internal shipping materials. b. Install the correct tray identification plate (see the figure below) on the accessory. 4. Windows: If you added the accessory before installing printer software, it is configured during software installation. If you added an accessory after software installation, update the software settings from the Device Settings tab in Printer Properties to configure it. OS X: After you attach the accessory and send the first print job, the accessory should be automatically configured.
