Power on NOTE: An MFP printer is shown below. However, turning the power on is similar for all staging models. 1. Connect the power cord to the printer and to an AC outlet. Turn the printer on. NOTE: Only use the power cord that comes with the printer. 2. At the printer control panel select the language, and then follow the instructions on the display. ● If the printer is being turned on for the very first time, the control panel will prompt you to set the Language, location, time/date, the option to enable Autosend and Print from USB drive. After finishing, a screen will appear on the control panel with printer setup options. 3. Touch "Initialize Product" and then "Continue" to begin the 26-minute printer initialization. IMPORTANT: During the printer initialization process, do not turn off the printer, open/close any access doors, or attempt to send any print jobs.
