Power connector cable Description Power connector cable Spare part number 807522-001 Before removing the power connector cable, follow these steps: 1. Turn off the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system. 2. Disconnect the power from the computer by unplugging the power cord from the computer. 3. Disconnect all external devices from the computer. 4. Remove the base enclosure (see Keyboard/top cover on page 28). 5. Disconnect the battery cable from the system board (see Battery on page 33). 6. Disconnect the WLAN module antenna cables from the WLAN module (see WLAN module on page 37). 7. Remove the system board (see System board on page 40). 8. Remove the display assembly (see Display assembly on page 48). Remove the power connector cable: 1. Remove the Phillips PM2.0×2.3 screw (1) that secures the power connector cable and bracket to the base enclosure. 2. Remove the power connector cable bracket (2) by lifting it up, and then sliding it to the left. 3. Remove the power connector cable (3) by sliding it to the left. Before removing the power connector cable, follow these steps:

Remove the power connector cable:
1.
Remove the Phillips PM2.0×2.3 screw

that secures the power connector cable and bracket to
the base enclosure.
2.
Remove the power connector cable bracket
(2)
by lifting it up, and then sliding it to the left.
3.
Remove the power connector cable
(3)
by sliding it to the left.
Reverse this procedure to install the power connector cable.
