3. Remove the 15 Phillips PM2.5×7.0 screws that secure the top cover to the computer. 4. Remove the six Phillips PM2.0×3.0 screws that secure the top cover to the computer. 5. Turn the computer right side up with the front toward you. 6. Open the computer. 7. Release the ZIF connector (1) to which the power button board ribbon cable is attached, and then disconnect the power button board ribbon cable from the system board. Turn the computer right side up with the front toward you.

Open the computer.

Release the ZIF connector

then disconnect the power button board ribbon cable from the system board.
