Removing a CD or DVD Note: You cannot remove a CD or DVD when the PC is off. 1 Open the disc tray by pressing the Eject button. 2 Holding on to the disc edges only, lift the CD or DVD out of the tray. 3 Place the disc in its case. 4 Close the disc tray by gently pushing the tray into the PC. Handling CDs To avoid damaging a CD, follow these guidelines: ■ Return the CD to the case when you are finished using it. ■ Handle the disc by its outside edges or centre hole only. ■ Do not touch the unlabelled side of a CD or place the unlabelled side down on your desk. Removing a CD or DVD
