Bluetooth module Description Spare part number Bluetooth module (Bluetooth module cable included in the Cable kit, part number 599525-001, see 537921-001 Cable kit on page 30) Before removing the Bluetooth module, follow these steps: 1. Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system. 2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer. 3. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer. 4. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 44). 5. Remove the following components: a. Switch cover (see Switch cover on page 46) b. Keyboard (see Keyboard on page 48) c. Palm rest (see Palm rest on page 60) Remove the Bluetooth module: 1. Position the computer right-side up with the front toward you. 2. Remove the Bluetooth module from the base enclosure (1). 3. Disconnect the Bluetooth module cable (2), and then remove the Bluetooth module (3). Component replacement procedures 69

Before removing the Bluetooth module, follow these steps:
1.
Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the
computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2.
Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.
3.
Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet
and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.
4.
Remove the battery (see

on page
44
).
5.
Remove the following components:
a.
Switch cover (see

)
b.
Keyboard (see
Keyboard
on page
48
)
c.
Palm rest (see
Palm rest
on page
60
)
Remove the Bluetooth module:
1.
Position the computer right-side up with the front toward you.
2.
Remove the Bluetooth module from the base enclosure
