4. Remove the rear webcam (3) and cable. Reverse this procedure to install the rear webcam. Front webcam Description Front webcam (includes microphone and cable) Spare part number 728159-001 Before removing the front webcam, follow these steps: 1. Turn off the tablet. If you are unsure whether the tablet is off or in Hibernation, turn the tablet on, and then shut it down through the operating system. 2. Disconnect the power from the tablet by unplugging the power cord from the tablet. 3. Disconnect all external devices from the tablet. 4. Remove the display enclosure (see Display enclosure on page 20). 5. Disconnect the battery cable from the system board (see Rear webcam on page 21). Remove the front webcam: 1. Release the ZIF connector (1) to which the front webcam cable is attached, and then disconnect the front webcam cable from the system board. 2. Detach the front webcam cable (2) from the battery. Before removing the front webcam, follow these steps:
1.
Turn off the tablet. If you are unsure whether the tablet is off or in Hibernation, turn the tablet on,
and then shut it down through the operating system.
2.
Disconnect the power from the tablet by unplugging the power cord from the tablet.
3.
Disconnect all external devices from the tablet.
4.
Remove the display enclosure (see

on page
20
).
5.
Disconnect the battery cable from the system board (see
Rear webcam
on page
21
).
Remove the front webcam:
1.
Release the ZIF connector
(1)
to which the front webcam cable is attached, and then disconnect
the front webcam cable from the system board.
2.
Detach the front webcam cable
(2)
from the battery. (The front webcam cable is attached to the
battery with double-sided adhesive.)
