set switch state Description Changes the administrative state for all ports on the switch. The previous set config switch command settings are restored after a switch reset or a reactivation of a switch configuration. Authority Admin session Syntax set switch state [state] Operands [state] Table 44 describes the switch administrative state parameters. Table 44 Switch administrative state parameters Parameter online offline diagnostics Description Activates and prepares the ports to send data. This is the default. Prevents the ports from receiving signal and accepting a device login. Prepares the ports for testing and prevents each port from accepting a device login. When you leave the diagnostics state, the switch automatically resets.
