Open an Admin session with the admin start command. An Admin session prevents other accounts from making changes at the same time through Telnet, QuickTools, Simple SAN Connection Manager, or any other management application. 8/20q FC Switch #> admin start 2. Open a Callhome Edit session with the callhome edit command. The Callhome Edit session provides access to the profile, callhome, and capture commands that are used to make modifications to the Call Home database. 8/20q FC Switch (admin) #> callhome edit 8/20q FC Switch (admin-callhome)#> callhome . . . 8/20q FC Switch (admin-callhome)#> profile . . . 8/20q FC Switch (admin-callhome)#> capture . . . 3. When you finish making changes, take one of the following actions: • To save the changes and close the Callhome Edit session, enter the callhome save command. Changes take effect immediately. 8/20q FC Switch (admin-callhome)#> callhome save • To close the Callhome Edit session without saving changes, enter the callhome cancel command. 8/20q FC Switch (admin-callhome)#> callhome cancel 4. To release the Admin session for other administrators, enter the admin end command.
