HP Confidential Hard drive blank CAUTION: To prevent improper cooling and thermal damage, do not operate the workstation blade or the enclosure unless all hard drive and device bays are populated with either a component or a blank. Remove the component as indicated. To replace the blank, slide the blank into the bay until it locks into place. Hard drive To remove the component: 1. Determine the status of the hard drive from the hot-plug SAS hard drive LED combinations ("SAS and SATA hard drive LED combinations" on page 55). 2. Back up all workstation data on the hard drive. Hard drive blank
CAUTION:
To prevent improper cooling and thermal damage, do not operate the workstation
blade or the enclosure unless all hard drive and device bays are populated with either a
component or a blank.
Remove the component as indicated.
To replace the blank, slide the blank into the bay until it locks into place.
Hard drive
To remove the component:
