System Overview 2.3.2 Chipset The Intel Q35 Express chipset consists of a Graphics Memory Controller Hub (GMCH) and an enhanced I/O controller hub (ICH9-DO). Table 2-3 compares the functions provided by the chipsets. AMT is a hardware/firmware solution that operates on auxiliary power to allow 24/7 support of network alerting and management of the unit without regard to the power state or operating system.
