Camera and Gallery Capture the Beauty of the Stars in Star Trails Mode Star trails mode lets you use your camera to capture the movement of the stars in the night sky. 1 In Light painting mode, select Star trails. 2 For best results, choose a clear night in a location without light pollution and with an unobstructed view of the sky. 3 Touch to start shooting. Look at the shot in the viewfinder. 4 When the exposure is just right, touch to finish shooting. Take HDR Photos Use HDR to Take Photos When shooting photos with backlighting or a high light contrast, High Dynamic Range (HDR) mode can help you improve light and shadow effects in your photos, giving your photos sharper details. 1 Go to Camera > More and select HDR mode. 2 Steady your device. 3 Touch to take a photo. Moving Pictures Take Moving Pictures to Bring Photos to Life When you want to capture a photo-worthy moment, but do not feel sure about when to touch the shutter button, you can use the Moving picture feature. A moving picture captures the sounds and images at 4K resolution before and after you touch the shutter button, and allows you to select the best shot and save it as a separate photo. You can also save a moving picture as a GIF file or video. Take Moving Pictures 1 Open Camera and select Photo mode. 2 Touch to enter Moving picture mode. 3 Touch to take a photo. Play Moving Pictures Moving pictures are saved in JPG format in Gallery. 65
