Unplug the MSR cable A , as shown in Figure 27 and remove the cable from the cable groove C . 3. Remove the screw B that secures the MSR. 4. Slide the MSR D up and off. D A C B Figure 27. Note: If you are replacing a dual-sided, single-track MSR, you must set the switch under the MSR cover next to the slot to either the RS-232 or keyboard position, depending on the configuration of the MSR removed. 3.
Remove
the
screw
±B²
that
secures
the
MSR.
4.
Slide
the
MSR
±D²
up
and
off.
To
replace
the
MSR,
reverse
this
procedure.
Note:
If
you
are
replacing
a
dual-sided,
single-track
MSR,
you
must
set
the
switch
under
the
MSR
cover
next
to
the
slot
to
either
the
RS-232
or
keyboard
position,
depending
on
the
configuration
of
the
MSR
removed.
