Bezel This section provides information about removing and installing the front bezel. Removing the bezel When working with some devices, such as additional optical drives, you must first remove the bezel to access the device. Complete the following steps to remove the bezel: 1. Unlock the side-cover lock. 2. Remove the side cover (see "Removing the side cover" on page 28). 3. For hot-swap hard disk drive models, slide the lock bar to the left. 4. Locate the bezel-release lever; then, press the bezel-release lever toward the front of the server. 5. Pull the top of the bezel away from the chassis; then, push the bezel down to disengage the bottom tabs. 6. Remove the bezel from the server and store the bezel in a safe place. Bezel
This
section
provides
information
about
removing
and
installing
the
front
bezel.
Removing
the
bezel
When
working
with
some
devices,
such
as
additional
optical
drives,
you
must
first
remove
the
bezel
to
access
the
device.
Complete
the
following
steps
to
remove
the
bezel:
1.
Unlock
the
side-cover
lock.
2.
Remove
the
side
cover
(see
“Removing
the
side
cover”
on
page
28).
3.
For
hot-swap
hard
disk
drive
models,
slide
the
lock
bar
to
the
left.
4.
Locate
the
bezel-release
lever;
then,
press
the
bezel-release
lever
toward
the
front
of
the
server.
5.
Pull
the
top
of
the
bezel
away
from
the
chassis;
then,
push
the
bezel
down
to
disengage
the
bottom
tabs.
6.
Remove
the
bezel
from
the
server
and
store
the
bezel
in
a
safe
place.
