Upgrade Guide Removing the BlackBerry MDS Integration Service You can remove the BlackBerry MDS Integration Service using the option for the appropriate BlackBerry Enterprise Server version: BlackBerry Enterprise Server version Option 4.1 SP7 You can choose one of the following options to remove the BlackBerry MDS Integration Service: • You can perform the following actions: a. Remove the BlackBerry Enterprise Server using Add or Remove Programs b. Run setup.exe from the BlackBerry Enterprise Server 4.1 SP7 installation files and clear the check box for the BlackBerry MDS Integration Service c. After you finish, you must remove the BlackBerry MDS Integration Service component information from the BlackBerry Configuration Database using the BlackBerry Manager • You can run the CreateDB executable that is included with the BlackBerry Enterprise Server 5.0 SP3 installation files 5.0 5.0 SP1 For more information about removing the existing installation, see "Add or remove a BlackBerry Enterprise Server component" in the BlackBerry Enterprise Server 4.1 SP7 Installation Guide. After you finish, you must remove the BlackBerry MDS Integration
Service component information from the BlackBerry
Configuration Database using the BlackBerry Manager
