You need this information when you register the blade server with IBM. You can register the blade server at http://www.ibm.com/support/mysupport/. Product name Machine type Model number Serial number BladeCenter QS21 0792 The machine type, model number, and serial number are on the label that covers the base of the blade server. The label is visible when the blade server is not in the BladeCenter unit. Checking for software and firmware updates Occasionally, firmware and software updates become available. To check for updates and download the latest device drivers, firmware updates or documents, go to http://www.ibm.com/support/us/en/.
