Setting a channel name You can set a channel name of up to 10 characters for each User channel, ITU Simplex channel, or e-mail channel. Push to save the edited data. •• The selected Software Key function is assigned to the Softkey. 4. Push [MENU] or to return to the Main screen. 5. Push [MENU] to return to the Main screen. TIP: You can confirm the selected function is assigned to the Software Key after returning to the Main screen. 22

Open “¼oftkey Assignment.”
[¾EN½] > Configuration > Key Assignment >
Softkey Assignment
2. Select a Softkey.
3.
Select a Software Key function.

The selected Software Key function is assigned
to the Softkey.
4.
Push [¾EN½] or
to return to the ¾ain
screen.
TIP:
You can confirm the selected function is
assigned to the Software Key after returning to the
¾ain screen.
