While waiting for Distress ACK 1. When "Waiting for Distress ACK" is displayed, push . DSC OPERATION 7 3. After sending, the following screen is displayed. Push . (Example: 2/4/6/8/12/16 MHz) LLTo cancel the Distress Cancel call, push . LLThe check mark shows that the Distress call on the selected frequency is cancelled by sending Voice Cancel message. 5. Hold down [PTT] to report the purpose of the cancellation. LLYou can display the wording of the cancellation by rotating [CH/GRP], or pushing [▲] or [▼]. 6. When “Waiting for Distress ACK” is displayed,
