Operating Your Receiver Operating the Radio The receiver has a built-in tuner that allows for AM/FM radio function. There are 2 way to tune;automatic and manual. Automatic tuning is effective when station signals are strong and there is no interference.If signal from the station you want to select is weak,you must tune in to it manually. Manual tuning 1.Connect the FM and AM antennae accordingly (see page 9 "Connecting the Antenna" ). 2. Press the POWER swtich to turn on the receiver. Alternatively, you can press and hold SCAN + or SCAN - for about one second to activate the automatic search function.In this mode, the receiver will automatically tune frequencies until it finds a station.When a FM station broadcast stereo sound, the STEREO indicator lights up. TV and other electronic devices could be the cause of interferences so try to position the antenna away of them. 2. Weak signal can affect the "auto Search function". Manual tuning
