Intel® Entry Server Board SE7221BK1-E User Guide Hardware Installations and Upgrades Rack-mount chassis add-in procedure The PCI Riser Bracket Assembly fits tightly against power connections on the server board. Be very carful not to pinch or damage the electrical connections when installing and removing the Bracket Assembly. 1. Remove the riser bracket. 2. Attach the riser connector to the bracket with the 2 screws accompanying the chassis. 3. Insert the add-in PCI card into the riser connector. Tilting card while forcing into riser will damage the add-in card. 4. Use the 3rd screw to connect the add-in card's bracket to the main bracket assembly. 5. Install the bracket assembly aligning the I/O edge with the slots in the back of the chassis and the riser card into the server board adaptive slot. 6. Push down firmly but carefully. Replacing the Backup Battery The lithium battery on the server board powers the RTC for up to ten years in the absence of power. When the battery starts to weaken, it loses voltage, and the server settings stored in CMOS RAM in the RTC (for example, the date and time) may be wrong. Contact your customer service representative or dealer for a list of approved devices. WARNING There is a danger of explosion if the battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same or equivalent type recommended by the equipment manufacturer. Discard used batteries according to manufacturer's instructions. ADVARSEL!
