Replacing the Control Panel Module (Fixed Drive System) Your server must be operated with a control panel installed. Caution: The control panel is NOT hot-swappable. Before removing or replacing the control panel, you must first take the server out of service, turn off all peripheral devices connected to the system, turn off the system by pressing the power button, and unplug the AC power cord from the system or wall outlet. 1. Unplug the USB cable from the server board (see letter "A"). 2. Unplug the front panel cable from the server board (see letter "B"). 3. Remove the cables from the retaining clip on the fan board (see letter "C"). 4. Press the latch at the back of the control panel (see letter "D"). 5. Replacing the Control Panel Module (Fixed Drive
System)
Your server must be operated with a control panel installed.
Caution:
The control panel is NOT hot-swappable. Before removing or replacing the control panel,
you must first take the server out of service, turn off all peripheral devices connected to
the system, turn off the system by pressing the power button, and unplug the AC power
cord from the system or wall outlet.
1.
Unplug the USB cable from the server board (see letter “A”).
2.
Unplug the front panel cable from the server board (see letter “B”).
3.
Remove the cables from the retaining clip on the fan board (see letter “C”).
4.
Press the latch at the back of the control panel (see letter “D”).
5.
Slide the control panel out through the front of the server system (see letter “E”).
