Setup Mounting the base (continued) 2. Mount the fall-prevention wire to the base (The fall-prevention wire is not attached) Remove the fall-prevention wire mounting screw of the base and mount the fall-prevention wire. Noteɿ ● Also pay careful attention to the length, strength, wiring and material (insulation quality) of the fall-prevention wire to be used. ● For the fall-prevention wire, the inside diameter of the ring section to be mounted on the camera unit should be between R4.1 mm and R6.5 mm, and the outside diameter should be below R12 mm. 3. Mount the fall-prevention wire to a strong location. Mount the fall-prevention wire to a strong location to prevent fall. 4. Mounting the base Face the imaging direction mark inside the base (j) in the shooting direction and mount the base. When mounting to a wall, face the imaging direction mark (j) upwards. Use two R4 mm screws for mounting. Noteɿ ● When mounting to a wall, be sure to face the imaging direction mark (j) upwards. ● R4 mm screws are not supplied. Use the appropriate type according to the material of the location for mounting. ● The two attached screws (M4 ‫ן‬8 mm) are for mounting the base to the adapter plate. Do not use them here. Connect the power cable, alarm cable and heater cable (A Pg. 24)(A Pg. 26)(A Pg. 27) Memoɿ ● The power cable must not be connected when PoE is used. ● When the camera is installed with a heater (sold separately: KA-ZH215), be sure to connect it to AC 24 V power supply. ● The AC 24 V power supply should conform to the following : Class 2 only (Fou USA), Isolated power supply only (For Europe). 3. Wind the waterproof tape LAN cable Wind the waterproof tape 3 1 Power cable, alarm cable 2 Solder or crimp Wind the insulation tape 10BASE-T/ 100BASETX(PoE) terminal LAN cable Towards the shooting direction (Face upwards when mounting to wall) 18 4 R4 mm screw Noteɿ ● Be careful not to drop the camera when it is removed from the base.

Mount the fall-prevention wire to the base
(The fall-prevention wire is not attached)
Remove the fall-prevention wire mounting screw
of the base and mount the fall-prevention wire.
Note
：

Also pay careful attention to the length,
strength, wiring and material (insulation
quality) of the fall-prevention wire to be used.
●
For the fall-prevention wire, the inside
diameter of the ring section to be mounted on
the camera unit should be between
R
4.1 mm
and
R
6.5 mm, and the outside diameter
should be below
R
12 mm.

Mount the fall-prevention wire to a strong
location.
Mount the fall-prevention wire to a strong
location to prevent fall.

Mounting the base
