A Destination Address Access Restrictions IP Address Restrictions may be imposed on clients accessing VN-C215VP4U using the IP address. When AdenyB is selected, acquisition of JPEG via the IP address specified for the [IP Address] item will be denied. However, restrictions are not imposed on access to the Web Setting page. When AallowB is selected, acquisition of JPEG via the IP address specified for the [IP Address] item will be permitted. However, restrictions are not imposed on access to the Web Setting page. When a multicast address is specified and AdenyB is selected, VNC215VP4U will deny transmission to this multicast address. When a multicast address is specified and AallowB is selected, VNC215VP4U will only allow transmission to this multicast address and deny transmission to multicast addresses that are not stated in the [IP Address] field. Noteɿ ● Note that when AallowB is selected and all IP address fields are left blank, JPEG acquisition by all IP addresses will be denied. However, restrictions are not imposed on access to the Web Setting page. In addition, VN-C215VP4U will also deny access when instructions for JPEG transmission to the specified IP address are sent via API. Memoɿ ● To specify a specific IP address range, enter a combination of the IP address and subnet mask in the [IP Address] field. ● Define the subnet mask using a bit length between 8 and 30. For example, a range between 192.168.0.0 and 192.168.0.255 is specified as 192.168.0.0/24 ([IP address]/[bit length of subnet mask]). 61
