Set Up 2 Enter the selection (by pressing the "ENTER" key). ENTER 3 Select the "VCR 1" icon. VCR1 Check the operation of the component. 1 Display the operation screen of the component to be checked. 2 Turn on the component from the GRC and confirm the actual component. ÷ If there is more than one setup code, input each code to see which one turns the power on. That will be the correct code for your component. 4 Enter the selection (by pressing the "ENTER" key). ENTER 5 Enter the setup code. Set 000 123 456 789 0 6 Select the "Set" icon. 7 Enter the selection (by pressing the "ENTER" key). Set 431 ENTER Note Although each setup code is designed to work with a number of different models, certain codes may not work with some models. (Also, certain codes may only operate some of the functions available on a given model.) With some models, be sure to keep the ENTER key pressed for a while. Use the numeric keys as shown below. Find the setup code of the component to be registered by referring to the Setup code chart in this manual.
Enter the setup code.

Check the operation of the component.

Display the operation screen of the component to be checked.

Turn on the component from the GRC and confirm the
actual component.

If there is more than one setup code, input each code to see
which one turns the power on. That will be the correct code for
your component.
Although each setup code is designed to work with a
number of different models, certain codes may not work
with some models. (Also, certain codes may only operate
some of the functions available on a given model.)
With some models, be sure to keep the ENTER key
pressed for a while.
