Recording When recording sound with a recorder component of KENWOOD, synchro recording is possible by setting the INPUT SELECTOR to select TAPE1 or MD according to the connected component. C-V351/C-V301 (EN) 25 To record a music source RC GRC 1 Select the source to be recorded. Main Menu ENTER INPUT When recording on TAPE, for source, select anything except TAPE1. When recording on MD, for source, select anything except MD. Main Menu 1 C D VCR Tape1 / MD Tuner AUX LD / DVD 6ch Input ENTER 2 Set the recording unit (cassette deck or MD recorder) to recording mode. 3 Play the source and start recording. Notes for using the 6ch INPUT source When 6ch INPUT is selected as the input source, the operation is subjected to the following restrictions. 1. Neither the video or audio can be recorded. 2. The monitor function cannot be activated by pressing the TAPE 2 (MONITOR) key. 3. Surround play, its adjustment, STEREO mode play, tone adjustment and Source Direct play are not available. RC/Main unit Each press switches the indication. 1 VCR 2 AUX 3 TAPE 1 / MD *1 4 TUNER (frequency display) 5 CD 6 LD / DVD *2 7 6ch INPUT GRC Select the icon of the source to be played. ÷ *1*2 The TAPE 1 display can be changed to the MD display and the LD display can be changed to the DVD display. 0 ÷ For the recording using a cassette deck or MD recorder, read the instruction manual of the cassette deck or MD recorder. ÷ Recording sound from a MD recorder onto TAPE 1 is not possible because the input selection is overlapped. ÷ Remember that varying the input level during recording causes the recording level to be varied. ÷ The EON overriding does not occur during recording. Regarding TAPE 2 (MONITOR) A cassette deck or graphic equalizer can be connected to this unit's TAPE 2 (MONITOR) terminals. If you connect a graphic equalizer, turn the TAPE 2 (MONITOR) key ON. If you connect a 3-head cassette deck, you can monitor the source sound, or the sound being recorded, while recording. Pressing the TAPE 2 (MONITOR) key lets you compare the recorded sound and the source sound. Refer to the operating manual for the component you connected for further details.
