46 Convenient CD recording Selection of the recording type With this unit, the following edit recording is possible according to the purpose. XD-SERIES (EN/M,T) Note that this cassette deck cannot record onto Note Metal tapes. If you want to select the track to be recorded while playing a CD Recording only desired titles u CD ONE TRACK RECORDING \ Perform this operation when a track you want to record starts during CD playback. This starts recording of the track from the beginning. If you want to record a CD in order of track numbers Recording of an entire CD i CD DIRECT RECORDING \ Perform the "CD DIRECT RECORDING" operation while the CD player is in stop mode to start recording. If you want to record only the desired tracks Recording the programmed titles o CD PROGRAM RECORDING \ Program the desired tracks from up to 3 CD discs in the desired order and record the programmed playback onto tape. With recording onto tape, the track will be interrupted for the part of the guide tape at the tape reversal, where Note recording is not possible. Please use single-side recording if this is to be avoided. Application section In regard to CD-TEXT (Remote control unit only) When a CD-TEXT disc is played on this unit, it displays the text information (disc or track title) recorded in the CD. To switch the displayed text information between the disc title and track title during playback, press the TEXT DISP. key. (When pressed during playback) TEXT DISP. Scrolls the disc title display.
