Convenient CD recording 47 XD-SERIES (EN/M,T) Recording only desired titles (CD ONE TRACK RECORDING) At the time of CD playback, any desired title can be selected immediately for recording. Recording preparations are required. (Steps 1 to 3) ¤ 1 Playback of CD. &^ ÷ Select a mode other than random play. 2 Select "Recording Options". MENU MULTI CONTROL SELECT XD-7...series : The equalizer or 3D surround effect applied to the audio can be recorded together with it. W XD-6...series, XD-8...series : The equalizer effect applied to the audio can be recorded together with it, but the effects obtained by surround playback or DSP playback cannot be recorded to- gether with the audio. E The following items can be selected by turning the MULTI CONTROL jog dial. "CD Program Play" "Recording Options" "Audio Options" "Clock Options" "Surround Setup" (Except for XD-7...series) +Scrolled display (Recording Options) Lights 3 Select "CD One Track Recording" . MULTI CONTROL SELECT 4 Start recording. Recording The following items can be selected by turning the MULTI CONTROL jog dial. "CD One Track Recording" (Only during CD playback) "CD Direct Recording" "CD Program Recording" "Timer Recording" +Scrolled display (CD One Track Recording) CD One Tra +Scrolled display (Press 'ENTER' to Start) ENTER Press 'ENT Application section When recording has been completed, a non-recorded portion of 4 seconds will be produced and the cassette deck part will stop. The CD player will enter temporary stop condition. To record a different track, repeat the steps 1 to4. ÷ Playback restarts from the beginning of the track being played and recording starts at the same time. To end recording in the middle &^ ÷ Both the cassette deck and CD player stop.
