2.3 Control Panel No. Display message 9 Original Type Text/Photo Photo Text 10 Mode or function 2 Description Displays the image quality setting of the original. Indicates that the Text/Photo Quality is selected. Select this mode to copy printed originals containing both text and images, such as newspapers and magazines. You can select this setting in combination with the Auto Density mode. Indicates that Photo Quality is selected. Select this mode to copy printed originals, such as pamphlets and catalogs. Select this setting to produce better reproductions of halftone original images (photographs, etc.) that cannot be reproduced with Text Quality. Indicates that Text Quality is selected. Select this mode when copying documents containing only text. The edges of copied text are reproduced with sharpness, providing an image that is easy to read.
