Description Enter the maximum number of retransmissions of a SYN that will be attempted before failing. It is lower than "Max Retrans" to thwart denial-of-service attacks. Normally this value will be one so the packet will be blocked at the first router. It is the number of hops allowed before a Multicast packet is discarded. Enter the maximum time between retransmissions.
