9 REINSTALL OPERATOR TO GATE Reinstall operator to the post and gate brackets securing with the hairpin clips. Once you have verified that the operator is level and the 1/4" gap between the operator and the extension bracket has been maintained, tighten all of the post and gate bracket supporting hardware. IMPORTANT NOTE: When tightening the ribbed neck bolts that hold the extension bracket to the post bracket, it is necessary to alternate between the bolts when tightening to ensure a correct alignment and to ease the drawing of the bolts through the brackets. Hairpin Clip 10 WARNING SIGN PLACEMENT Warning placards MUST be installed on both sides of the gate and in plain view. To prevent SERIOUS INJURY or DEATH from a moving gate: • Install warning signs on the front and back of the gate in PLAIN VIEW. • Permanently secure each warning sign in a suitable manner using fastening holes.
