Chapter 2: Hardware Interface Description Turning the C24 On Using IGN To turn on C24, the IGN signal must be asserted high. The IGN signal must remain high for the duration of the C24 operation. C24 powers down when the IGN signal is returned to its low state. Figure 2-3 illustrates the power-on process using the IGN signal. Figure 2-3: IGN Power On Timing Turning the C24 Off There are several ways to turn the C24 off: • Asserting the ON_N signal low for a minimum of 2 seconds. • Setting the IGN signal low. • AT command. Turning the C24 Off Using ON_N Asserting the ON_N signal low for a minimum of 2 seconds will turn C24 off. This will initiate a normal power-off process, which includes disabling of all applications interfaces (UART, audio, etc.) and closing the network connection.
