13 - 8 Symbol LS3408 Product Reference Guide Synapse Interface The auto-detection of a Synapse cable must vary in duration depending on the type of Synapse connection. If a scanner is connected to another scanner using a Synapse cable, select Auxiliary Synapse Port Connection. In all other cases when using the cable, Motorola recommends the default setting. To disconnect and reconnect the scanner from a Synapse cable that is connected to a live host, select "Plug and Play" Synapse Connection.
