Making Calls Using Call Alerts Sending a Call Alert lets the recipient know you want to talk to him or her on a Walkie-Talkie call. When you send a Call Alert, the recipient's phone alerts them and displays your name or Walkie-Talkie number. Sending Call Alerts To send a Call Alert: 1. Enter the Walkie-Talkie number you want to send the alert to. 2. Press Alert (left softkey). 3. Press the Walkie-Talkie button until Alert Sent to appears on the display screen. If the alert is not successful, this may mean the person you are trying to reach is on a call or has the phone turned off. Note: You can send a Call Alert from Call History or Contacts. Find the Walkie-Talkie number you want to send a Call Alert to and continue as explained above. Section 2A: Making and Answering Calls 63
