Main Menu> Advanced> Traffic Management> Broadcast Control Broadcast control lets you set a threshold for the number of broadcast packets sent over a port. Figure 4-26: Broadcast Control Main Menu> Advanced> VLANS A Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN) is a means to electronically separate ports on the same switch from a single broadcast domain into separate broadcast domains. Figure 4-27: VLANS By using VLAN, you can group by logical function instead of physical location. This switch supports up to 64 VLANs. This switch supports static, port-based VLANs. The VLAN Setup options are as follows: Main Menu> Advanced> VLANS> VLAN Admin Up to 64 VLANs with unique ID numbers and names can be added. VLAN ID numbers must be in the range of 1-4094.
