A Auto Power Off If no operations are performed for the length of time selected for Auto off timer in the setup menu (0 189; the default for both shooting and playback is about 1 minute), the monitor will turn off to save power and the power-on lamp will flash. The display can be reactivated using the power switch, rotating the mode dial, or by pressing the shutter-release or K button. If no operations are performed for a further three minutes or so, the camera will turn off automatically. s 28
