■ Keypad lock (Keyguard) You can lock the keypad to prevent the keys being accidentally pressed, for example when your phone is in your handbag. To lock the keypad, press Menu in standby mode and then within 1.5 seconds. To unlock the keypad, press Unlock and then within 1.5 seconds. If you have set the Security keyguard function to On, you need to enter a security code to unlock the phone. When the keypad is locked: • The indicator is shown. • To answer a call, press . During the call, the phone can be operated normally. When you end or reject the call, the keypad will automatically be locked. You can also set the keypad to lock automatically after a certain length of time (see Automatic keyguard on page 95), or you can set the phone to ask for the security code when you unlock the keypad (see Security keyguard on page 95). Note: When Keyguard is on, calls may be possible to the emergency number programmed into your phone (e.g. 112 or other official emergency number). Key in the emergency number and press . The number is displayed only after you have keyed in its last digit. ■ Writing text You can key in text, for example messages or calendar notes, using predictive or traditional text input. Keypad lock (Keyguard)
You can lock the keypad to prevent the keys being accidentally pressed, for
example when your phone is in your handbag.
To lock the keypad, press
Menu
in standby mode and then
within 1.5 seconds.
To unlock the keypad, press
Unlock
and then
within 1.5 seconds.
If you have set the
Security keyguard
function to
On
, you need to enter a security
code to unlock the phone.
When the keypad is locked:
